    Responsible for Cleaning Dilapidated and Abandoned Property, Cutting Weeds and Grass

  •   Food and Consumer Safety

  •   Housing and Neighborhood Health
    Occupied Housing, Trash and High Weeds and Grass, Abandoned Junk Vehicles on Private Property.
    Vacant Open Structures only in the city locations of Lawrence, Beech Grove, Speedway, or Southport.
    All vacant structures in Indianapolis must be referred to the Mayor's Action Center at 327-4622.

    Lead Inspections, Blood Lead Testing, Healthy Homes Inspections, Consumer Product Testing, Radon Tests, Bed Bugs

  •   Mosquito Control
    Larviciding (investigating areas of standing water and treating those that are breeding mosquito larvae)
    Adulticiding (fogging of neighborhoods to reduce the adult mosquito population)


  •   Rodent Control
    Investigation and Baiting of Potential Rodent Habitats

  •   Water Quality and Hazardous Materials Management
    Tattoo and Body Piercing Shops, Childcare Facilities, Public Swimming Pools, Private Well/Pump,
    Onsite Sewage Disposal Systems (Septic Systems), Hazardous Materials, Lift Station,
    Sewer Overflows, Fish Kill, Surface Water Quality, Cleanliness of Schools of Daycare Centers,
    Indoor Air Quality (Home or Business), Smoking in/around Commercial or Business Facility.
