The Chronic Disease Control Program strives to help people develop and maintain healthy lifestyles through a variety of educational programs. The goals and objectives for each program are set in line with the needs of the community, the goals of the Health Department, and the national goals outlined by the United States Department of Health and Human Services. Members of the Chronic Disease staff provide screening and education services to Marion County neighborhoods, worksites, places of worship, schools, and community health centers.
